1. Giovanni Long ('24,IL) RHP

Long was the big standout of the Chicago Select as he really put together a great bullpen. The arm is on time with some stiffer overall moves. He also get's some extension with his 6'4" 225lb frame. With this size and current raw actions, Long could very well flirt with mid to upper 90s at some point in his career. Check him out at Topps National on June 8th in West Palm Beach.

2. Julian Esparza ('25,IL) C

Stocky catcher build with a bit of strength available. Right idea at the plate with some rear hip IR coil and a connected swing; really like the high intent uphill hack. Also popped a 2.0 from behind the plate. College follow swing in the HS-So.

3. Stevie Hobbs ('23,IL) RHP/3B

Hobbs showed well with the bat, but he really stood out from the mound. He came from a higher slot getting some steepness to the FB; he flirted with the upper 80s. Offensively Hobbs showed some feel for the barrel. College follow arm for the area this spring.

4. Grant Fletcher ('24,IL) UTIL

Displayed an overall balanced hack with a lot of contact out front that produced line drives to the middle of the field. Grant has shown pop during game action in the past. He has a solid offensive foundation moving into his HS-Jr. spring.

5. Benjamin Shea ('24,IL) UTIL

Although there is some drift into launch position, Shea has shown the ability to produce XBHs in live action with the hack; there's some juice available  in the swing. Shea also grabbed a 2580 RPM breaking ball at 70 off of the bump. Great student and follow bat for schools in the area.
