Will St Onge (‘24,FL) Burn 2024 Scout Team - 6’2 185 with room to fill out.. Repeatable delivery from a H3/4 slot. Showed good command and above average mound presence. Turns over the CH in the low 80’s, FB sat 87-88, grabbed 90 at times. Struck out 3 in relief. Still uncommitted.

Antonio Turco (‘24,FL) Elite Squad 17u National - Whippy arm that pounded the zone. FB lived mid-upper 80’s t89. Present feel for spin, landed it in the zone consistently, currently uncommitted.

Michael Torres (‘24,FL) Elite Squad 17u National - Torres worked 3 innings today on the mound, FB was 85-88 t89. Tunneled both off speed pitches well. Feel for both with good action. Also got it done offensively this weekend.. Miami commit.

Will Burke (‘24,FL) Ostinger Academy - Present feel for the barrel with a disciplined approach at the plate. Showed good hands at 3B making every play and showing above average arm strength, good speed on the bases as well, currently uncommitted. 

Evan Tavares (‘24, FL) Power Baseball 2024 Marucci/Blue Jays Scout - Switch-Hitting Catcher that is committed to the University of Miami. Tavares has a short, compact swing; protected the zone w/ 2K but did not chase outside of the zone. Had good at bats all game long including a single up the middle from the left side and a sac fly to deep right to drive in a run from the right side. Showed good movement behind the plate as well

Kaiden Lopez (‘24,FL) Power Baseball 2024 Marucci/Blue Jays Scout - Ole Miss commit. RHH with a strong 6’0 180 frame. Has a wide stance and sits low. Good plate discipline; did not chase out of the zone. Had 2 barrels on the day both to RCF.

Jack Waddingham (‘24,FL) Power Baseball 2024 Marruci / Blue Jays Scout - Had some great AB’s today and showed good B2B skills with an RBI single up the middle. Worked the count well and had a couple QAB’s.

Kaden Smith (‘24,FL) Power Baseball 2024/Blue Jays Scout • 6’2 right handed TCU commit out of Ocala, FL dazzled on the bump against the Florida Burn for 2 innings due to pitch count. Hitting low 90’s consistently with his four-seam while maxing at 94. He was effective with the subtle 12’6 at 74 to 76 to wipe out opponents. Though a short outing for the righty, greatly effective.

Lazaro Collera (‘24,FL) • 6’6 right handed pitcher committed to Miami showed some big time velo with the FB, up to 95, top in the event.. Settled in nicely out of the pen, electric stuff overall.

Brodie Johnston (‘24,TN) Power Baseball - Big frame on the Vanderbilt commit. 6’2” 200 lbs, Johnston has a fundamentally sound swing and a good understanding of what it takes to succeed at the next level.

Jan Reyes (‘24, FL) Alabama State commit. Really like this LHH in the lead off spot. Patient at the box with good B2B skills and good speed. Defends well in CF.

Imarion Stanberry (‘24,FL) Elite Squad- Tall presence on the mound standing at 6’4 and has room to fill. Releases the ball at a low 3/4 arm slot which helps 2 seam FB run, and pairs well with CH in the low 8’s while spinning off a BB with 11-5 shape. Relies heavily on the FB to get the swing and miss. Currently uncommitted.

Jackson Lalima (‘24,FL) Burn 2024 Scout Team - The RHH showed the ability to square up the ball today finishing his first game with a hard liner to LF. Early on time load with the ability to turn on the ball.


Simon Yochum (‘24,FL) Burn 17u Scout Team - This was an interesting arm to to follow as the side arm RH was 78-80 T81 with a lot of heavy ASR. His FB velo played up as it had high spin rate and kept hitters guessing with his CB.

Ryder Woodson (‘24,FL) Burn 17u Scout Team - Woodson had a good day all around finding himself a hit with a compact swing. On the mound he had a competitive FB 86-88 T89 w/t a loose arm. Ball jumped out of hand very well, clean operation overall. Uncommitted at this time.

Cooper Hinson (‘24,FL) Ostingers 2024 Osting - Has an aggressive swing from the left side, but stays within himself nicely. Has a true “yes, yes, no” mentality at the plate, hit ball hard all day just couldn’t find holes. Committed to Marshall.

Brodie Johnston (‘24,FL) Power Baseball SS/3B RHP. Disciplined ABs throughout the day,. Legit strength at contact when he gets a pitch to drive. Good defender in the INF. Vanderbilt Commit.

Landon Carter (‘24, FL) Burn Scout Team- LHP w/ a strong 5’10 185 frame. Carter showed good mechanics; hid the ball well throughout his delivery. FB lived in the mid 8’s. Pitched well today throwing 4 innings.


Ryan Ashford (‘24,FL) Power Baseball - One of the most exciting arms showcased today. The 6’2” lefty sat high 80’s with very good command. Breaking balls surrendered good swings and misses down in the zone. Miami commit.

Evan Taveras (‘24,FL) Power Baseball - Solid backstop for Power Baseball. The switch hitting catcher was on fire all day today, lots of solid contact and spraying the ball to all fields. Fundamentally, Taveras is textbook. Solid arm from behind the plate as well. Miami commit.

Andre Modungo (‘24,FL) FTB Phillies Scout Team - 6’5”; Two-way guy; Long Legs; has a good swing through the zone; shows plate discipline.. Pitched as well. Duke Commit.

Mason Ceccarrelli (‘24,FL) • A second baseman with great bay to ball skills who excelled on both sides. Turned-two twice in clutch moments to shatter opposition momentum. He went 2-5 at the dish with a single and broke the game open in the late innings with a 3 RBI triple.

Jackson Lalima (‘23,FL) Florida Burn - True presence at the plate, 3 hits in one game including homer, triple, and a single. Great B2B skills. Does not miss his pitch when it’s given to him. Works the whole field and has present power at the plate. Old Dominion Commit.

Ethan Puig (‘24,FL) Elite Squad 17u National- Put together quality AB’s all morning, starts tall, but works into his legs, loads with a small leg kick, and has quiet hands throughout the swing….Able to fight off tough pitches and forced pitchers to make a mistake and punished them. University of Miami commit.

Dylan Howell (‘24,FL) Elite Squad 17u National • Quality AB’s all day barreling 2 balls middle away resulting in a hit for him. The primary catcher receives well and has an above average arm. Good follow throughout summer. #uncommitted

Pedro Mena (‘24,FL) FTB Phillies American • The RHH drove a ball to LF for a single showing his ability to get the barrel out early and turn on it. #uncommitted

Isaias Ducasse (‘24,FL) FTB Phillies American • The RHP pounded the zone 88-89 T90 attacking hitters in relief. FB had some life, was very competitive every pitch. Good arm to follow #uncommitted

Riley Luft (‘24,FL) CBU - Appalachian State commit had a solid game against Ostingers. Had a big two-bagger early in the game to start the scoring. Luft keeps his front shoulder in very well and coils his back hip to generate pop. Good understanding of hitting from the ‘24.

Eli Fleming (‘24,FL) CBU - Very solid outing today, went 2 innings only giving up 1 run. Fastball topped 89mph and lived there all game, generated swing and misses up in the zone. Secondary pitches also were working, changeup and slider sat 82mph and 80mph respectively. Pitt commit.

Ignacio Salaverria (‘24,FL) • Elite Squad 17U National- Balanced stance with a leg kick trigger. Shows patience at the plate picking his pitch. Drove a base hit through the middle for a base hit. Very solid defender in the infield, currently uncommitted.

Colton Sampson (‘24, AL) FTB Phillies Scout Team American - Tall framed LHP. Funky delivery which gave hitters uncomfortable AB’s. FB lived 84-86 topping 88 along with a sweeping BB.

Manny Marin (‘24,FL) Elite Squad National - Rhythmic load and stride, lands 50/50 and has great ability to stay back on off speed pitches. Above average bat speed with present strength at the plate. Very solid defender as well. Tennessee commit.

Pedro Mena (‘23,FL) FTB Phillies American - Very solid bat with nice GTG ability. Patient hitter who waits for the pitcher to come to him. Solid defender behind the plate as well.

JD Wolff (‘24,FL) Burn Scout '24 - Whippy bat from the left side, gets out of the box well. Very solid uncommitted follow.

Sebastian Berrios ('24,FL) CBU Scout - Very solid day 1 so far for the FIU commit. Seeing the ball well, active hands with a lower half that works.. Multiple barrels back through the middle today. Very good follow here at Scout Series FL.
