DUNEDIN, FL - Exclusive, high-level Florida travel baseball, that is what will be on display June 3rd-4th at the Toronto Blue Jays Player Development Complex in Dunedin, FL. Six of the deepest and most storied organizations will start the summer off with a bang as their top 2024 teams square off in an invite-only round robin with upwards of 50 Division I commits, along with college ready, uncommitted follows on all rosters.
Dylan Jordan ('24,FL) - FSU commit who has made some serious jumps on the mound over the last two years. Saw Jordan in the begging of 2022 and saw a lean RHP with a very loose arm and huge potential. Present day, the body is filling out (6'3, 2o5lbs), Jordan is one of the top RHP's in the 2024 class with a FB that grabs 94 often and a wipeout SL at 79-82 with 2500rpm. Premium arm to check out in Dunedin this weekend.
Brodie Johnston ('24,TN) - A native of Ooltewah, Tennessee Johnston really impressed earlier in the year at Power's annual tryout. Extremely physical overall, impacts the baseball as good or better than anyone in the 2024 class. Will man SS for Power Marucci/Blue Jays ST this summer, has the defensive ability to stick on the left side of the infield in the future. Vanderbilt commit.
Talan Bell ('24,FL) - A true two-way talent committed to FSU. On the mound, Bell works the hands over the head to create rhythm and timing, very clean and calculated delivery. Repeats well, FB sits upper 8s and grabs 90 at times with feel for two off-speed offerings. At the plate, Bell swings it well from the left side, athletic bat with good hands. Above avg defender in the OF with carry on his throws.
Ty Head ('24,FL) - NC State commit. One of the more projectable bats in the 2024 class, lean/athletic build with elite timing and hands at the plate. Uses the whole field, liable to hit a double in any AB.. Long strides around the bases, moves well. Defends well, can play anywhere in the OF.
Michael Kalinich ('24,FL) - LHH/C that is committed to East Carolina University.. Swing always impresses during BP, steady swing with rhythm/feel from the left side. Works well behind the plate.
Jack Waddingham ('24,FL) - LHH/CIF that has had a swing that has been ready to explode since his Freshman year.. Stetson commit, bat comes first, serviceable defender on the corners. Natural lift, gets on plane well can really produce when on time.
Cannon Feazell ('24,FL) - Clemson commit with a very clean/athletic delivery that will continue to trend up as he makes his way to Tigerville. Good pace throughout the delivery, maintains posture, arm is clean.. FB has been up to 90, lands the BB in the zone.
Evan Taveras ('24,FL) -
Miami commit that is a lock behind the plate defensively. Handles the staff well, good game manager with actions to match. Has shown the ability to lift in-game with some juice at the plate. Expecting a big summer in 2023 from Taveras.
Johny King ('24,FL) - 6'4 185lb LHP committed to Miami. Present feel for an advanced 2-pitch mix.. FB up to 92 with a very solid CB at 77-79 that he can spin to both LHHs and RHHs. Athletic delivery with some controlled violence to it.
Lachi Collera ('24,FL) - Another power arm from CBU, committed to Miami.. Big time mound presence, frame matches at 6'6 230lbs.. Attacks hitters from a high slot, physical with easy velocity through the zone, FB up to 93, with a sharp CB at 78-80.
Aden Knowles ('24,FL) - 6'2 190lb NC State commit from perennial HS powerhouse, Tampa Jesuit. Knowles can really pitch, mixes 2P's well in the zone. FB primarily upper 8s, can really locate it, paired with a very solid BB he can spin in big spots. Competes.
Chayce Kieck ('24,FL) - Clemson commit, confident arm with a clean/explosive delivery, really gets the lower half involved.. Short and compact delivery overall, FB sits 87-89, grabs 90 occasionally (2500rpm, plays harder). Throws the SL with intent at 80-82.
TJ Socarras ('24,FL) - Legitimate two-way guy with a verbal to the University of Pittsburgh. Socarras, a TOPPS National alum, has actions that will play on both sides of the ball. Athletic operation overall, moves well in the INF, up to 94 across from SS. Swings it well from the right side, simple with natural lift. Arm plays on the mound as well; quick/infield type AA with life.
Julian Irrizarry ('24,FL) - Smooth swinging LHH/OF that is also committed to the University of Pittsburgh. Obvious feel in the box, confident with rhythm and barrel awareness. Hit .472 this spring for Westminister Academy.
Dylan Murphy ('24,FL) - Uncommitted RHH/C/UTIL on a team full of commits that produces high exit velocities at the plate, lifts with authority to the gaps when on time. Versatile defender, good follow this weekend for schools attending.
Tyler Acevedo ('24,NY) - Ole Miss commit. Acevedo, a TOPPS National Alum, is a high level athlete from NY who attends Trinity Pawling. Present power overall, twitchy with sudden movements. Has the ability to create plus power at the plate, hands are quick. 6.7 runner, solid defender in the infield.
Isaiah Shivers ('24,NY) - A Brooklyn, NY native, Shivers has perhaps one of the highest ceilings at Scout Series FL this weekend. Simple swing from the left side; subtle load with some rhythm, works A to B, clean barrels to all fields. Primary OF who can also play IF, up to 88 with the arm. Very good runner. Committed Memphis University.
Jan Luis Reyes ('24,PR) - Talented L/L OF/LHP from Humacoa, PR. 6.7 runner, up to 90 from the OF with the arm. Fluid, 1-piece swing at the plate. Arm plays on the mound as well, upper 8s FB paired with a mid 7s CB with bigger shape. Alabama State commit.
Aaron Babaev ('24,NY) - LHH/OF from Glen Head, NY that is committed to Tulane. Violent swing with natural lift from the side. Really works through the ball, finish is violent but creates a ton of whip with the barrel through the zone. Arm is up to 90 from the OF.
Ryan Johnson ('24,KY) - Athletic LHH/OF from Carlisle, KY. Very connected operation at the plate, knob really works to the ball with some uphill to the bath. Present strength with good posture at/after contact, produces above average EV's when he turns the barrel on something he can drive. Western Kentucky University commit.
Carson Van Haaran ('24,KY) - Eastern Kentucky commit from Lexington, KY.. RHP that creates some deception with the glove side, while working down the mound. FB has above average spin with some arm side run, up to 90 this spring. Spins a SL at 80-82 as well.
Chardy Tierney ('24,KY) - Very interesting arm that is currently uncommitted. Fast, clean arm action with a lot more in the tank.. Athletic operation overall, arm action has a chance for plus stuff at the next level. FB up to 91, runs in to RHH's. Turns over the CH at 83-84, maintains arm speed when he goes to the BB.
Colton Sampson ('24,AL) - Physical LHP/OF from Fort Mitchell, AL.. Body is there at 6'3 195. Has some twitchiness to his game, runs a 6.5 60YD.. On the mound, expecting a live arm with an upper 8s that FB that plays harder. Currently uncommitted.

Akhil Nimmala (‘24,FL) - Long and lean 6’3” 190lbs. Loose thrower with mature actions into ball release; low 9s arm from INF and mostly upper 8s off the mound. Offensively, from the RS, Akhil has true pop with an advanced path and plenty of segment dissociation; the bat will no-doubt play at the next level especially if undrafted. UCF commit.
Cooper Hinson (‘24,FL)
- 6’ 185lb LHH and OFer from Bloomingdale HS. Coop has made substantial strides with the bat in the past year. He still has a lot of upside with the bat and the power will continue to trend up; Hinson gets a lot of uphill contact and swings with high intent. Marshall commit.

A physical 6’4” 205lb C/RHH. One of the best uncommitted rising seniors in the Tampa area. Barrel control and power is in the bag as well as some catch-throw ability. High academic.
Guillermo Rivera (‘24,FL) -
6’1” 190lbs. Here’s another strong college follow from the Tampa area. I got a chance to see Rivera in action this spring in a big-time Wesley Chapel rivalry game. Rivera caught a no-hitter while showing off AA receiving; he added 3 hits in the match. The SW hitting bat really plays from the LS; have yet to see a RH AB.

The 6’3” 210lb power RHP sports a legit 4P mix. FB can grab 92/93. Video game stats at Durant this past spring with .133 BAA, 0 XBHs allowed, and 0 bags stolen while Rowland was on the bump. Florida commit.
Will Burke (‘24,FL) -
Under the radar INFer from Tampa Jesuit HS. I got a good look at him in last November, and he had a great showing in the field and offensively. Will was a tad raw then, so I’m interested to see if he’s added strength/physicality. Excellent student. Uncommitted.
Manny Marin ('24,FL) - High level RHH/SS that is committed to the University of Tennessee. Marin has all the tools and makeup of a power 5 SS.. Hands work at SS, has the ability to let the arm loose when needed. Creates a ton of torque at the plate, naturally uncoils at contact to really turn the barrel through the zone.
Michael Torres ('24,FL) - Legitimate two-way talent, committed to the University of Miami. On the mound, Torres features a clean delivery that syncs up well after gather.. FB will sit upper 8s, grab lo-9s on occasion. At the plate, Torres is equally as dangerous, poised/loose operation offensively, uses the whole body but lets the hands work to all fields. Creates a ton of whip with the barrel through the zone.
Ethan Puig ('24,FL) - RHH/CIF that is also committed to Miami. Relaxed start offensively, maintains posture at contact and lets the hands work through the zone. Above average defender at 3B, profiles to stay on the corners moving forward.
Dylan Howell ('24,FL) - Uncommitted RHH/C with one of the best catch/throw tools in the 2024 class. Arm is the real deal from behind the plate, on target with carry consistently. At the plate, the swing is there and continues to trend in the right direction, more there with added strength and AB's. Howell will be at TOPPS National on June 8th.
Larry Rodriguez ('24,FL) - Uncommitted RHH/OF good bat from the right side, toe tap trigger with an linear approach overall. Impacts the ball well, gets the barrel out on time. Above average runner in the OF and on the bases.
Luis Suarez ('24,FL) - Uncommitted LHH/2B, contact guy that can pick it at 2B. Good follow to check out this weekend for schools in need of a high OBP/Defender.
Aiden Tarshis ('24,FL) - Solid arm from Coral Springs, FL.. Tarshis will be at TOPPS National on June 8th. Mid to upper 8s with the FB, can really pitch; mixes in a CB with vertical shape.
Ayden Tran (‘23,FL) - 6’ 180lb LHP from Providence HS. Works in the mid 8s. Stays away from hard contact; only 1 XBH on 50 BF this spring. Daytona State commit.
Cade Walter (‘24,FL) -
5’11” 175lb UTIL/OFer from Harmony HS. The LHH comes with some easy pop from a tall setup prior to launch. Batted a .391 year, and couldn’t stay off the bases with a .588 OBP. JU commit.
Mason Wortmann (‘24,FL) -
Another Burn prospect by way of Providence HS. The uncommitted MIFer has a high AVG offensive profile as a RHH; went .407 with a .556 OBP this spring.
Parker Brzustewicz (‘24,FL) -
6’3” 185lbs. Solid RHH with juice. Gets a bit of extended contact and has a visibly quick bat. Strong INF arm to go with. Notre Dame commit.
Jackson LaLima (‘24,FL) -
6’1” 185lbs. Toe-tap RHH and a higher hand set; rear hip coil present with a violent uphill hack. Sports legit bat speed that yields 100+ EVs in BP. Old Dominion commit.
