DAY 1


Nolan Risedorf OF (‘24,CT) • View Player Profile
Left-handed hitter, Risedorf led off the game with a barrel, singling to right field. Stole second easily on the very next pitch. Fast, athletic outfielder, primarily playing in center field. His second AB ended with a hard lineout, and third with a bunt for hit. SNHU commit.

Robert Natale C (‘24,RI) • View Player Profile
Natale had himself a day at the plate. Started off his day with a RBI double to deep centerfield. Came up again and had an 87MPH line out to shortstop. Defensively sound, receives the ball with soft hands, with a good arm throwing to bags. Game manager, acts as a leader for his team. CCSU commit.

Graydon Vyse RHP (‘24,CT) • View Player Profile
The 6’7” LHP left his impression, tossing a 5 inning no-hitter for Gap2Gap 18U. Tall, lanky, with a funky delivery, Vyse racked up 10 Ks with his 84-86MPH FB and 75MPH SL. Worked east to west and elevated his FB when needed with 2 strikes. Fell behind a few times, but worked back against hitters, with only 3 walks on the day. Babson commit.

Colby Bryant MIF (‘26,CT) • View Player Profile
Athletic, strong build, listed at 5’11” 165lbs. Used his smooth, whippy swing to find a couple barrels in his three PAs. Bryant singled up the middle, bringing in a run, and lined out hard to 2B. Solid approach, hunting early in counts. Room to improve heading into his junior year, currently uncommitted.

Gavin Townsend RHP (‘25,NY) • View Player Profile
Townsend played up with East Coast Elite Baseball 17U as the starting pitcher. Simple mechanics with clean, smooth arm action. Utilized his firm FB, sitting 83-86, mixing in a SL at 73 and CB at 68. Generated swing and miss with all three pitches. Uses his lower half well to get down the mound. Commanded the zone up through the middle innings. Currently uncommitted.

Aidan Clancey RHP (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile 
The big RHP for the River Dogs had himself a day in game one of pool play. Clancey utilized a three pitch repertoire, FB(84mph), BB(73mph), and CH(72mph). He pounded the zone frequently, highlighting his command for all three pitches. Currently uncommitted, Clancey projects well for the future thanks to his frame and poise.

Ben Kent RHP (‘27,NY) • View Player Profile 
Kent had all of pitches working for him today, as he threw a complete game shutout for the East Coast Elite. The RHP showcased a FB, CH, and SL. Kent consistently got ahead in the count with the FB, topping at 73, and finished batters off with his off speed generating weak contact and plenty of s/m. The uncommitted righty showed promise today.

Anthony Burt RHP (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile 
Strong start for the RHP out of Rhode Island. Good command of the fastball, up to 86. Slider registered at 76 with good late break. Burt racked up the strikeouts, generating lots of s/m. Uncommitted currently, Burt looks to impress scouts through the summer.

Will Francis C/OF (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile
Francis comes in standing at 6’3, 215lbs. The Nationals backstop had himself an eventful start to the Rhode Island Open. Francis caught, pitched, and drove in two runners w/ a double down the left field line. Francis uses his lower half well, generating power and combining it w/ quick hips to turn and drive the baseball.

Ayden Sheedy C/OF (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile 
Sheedy played well for the Rhode Island Nationals today, highlighted by his game tying two run single. Sheedy is a disciplined hitter, who can spray the ball to all parts of the field. He has a small toe tap for timing, followed by quick hands that allow the barrel to travel through the zone.

Riley Cronin C (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile 
Cronin played well in the first day of pool play, collecting two hits and throwing a runner out. He’s a line drive hitter, who stays through the ball w/ his short swing. Combining his athleticism w/ added power projects well for Cronin on both sides of the ball.

Luke Heim RHP (’28,NJ) • View Player Profile 
The Jersey arm has a true pitcher’s build at 6’1” 155lbs that screams projection. In a tough game against a strong Gap2Gap team, Heim made numerous hitters look uncomfortable in the box, racking up a ton of strikeouts. The tall and lanky right hander has an over-the-top delivery with a FB up to 72mph that has more than enough room to gain velocity. Extending well with his lower half, his FB looks even harder to hitters when they are in the box.

Dion Hightower III OF/RHP (’28, CT) • View Player Profile 
Hightower is yet another quality two-way player for Gap2Gap Baseball. At 5’8”, the explosive 2028 grad works from the ground up on both sides of the ball. With an athletic, quick arm, Dion runs his FB up to 72mph and has a CB in the low 60s. With the bat, he has an open stance and maintains a flat barrel which creates a low of power, especially on balls down. The CT two-way shows lots of strength in his lower half, which is a big part of his game.

Jack Thompson RHP (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile

RI Nationals. Thompson is only 15 years old and with his 6’3 frame gets downhill on the mound. Touching 82 while sitting 77-79 and a CB at 65-67 Thompson with lots of room to grow can be a top velo arm in the future. Currently uncommitted.

DAY 2


Santino Giuffrida MIF (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile
Solid day at the plate. Hard, solid contact back up the middle for a 2 RBI single in the first inning to put his RI Devils 18U squad ahead, and never looking back. Quick hands with a short, compact swing, keeping his barrel through the zone. Currently uncommitted.

Carlos Merejo C (‘24,RI) • View Player Profile
Merejo is a leader behind the plate. Defensively sound, receives with soft hands, and frames pitches well. Plus arm throwing to bags, with quick transfer and short, efficient arm action. RHH. Takes violent swings at the plate, does not get cheated. Caught a couple barrels throughout the game. CCSU commit.

Bryce Chatman OF (‘24,NY)
RHH. Barreling up a loud single up the middle in the first, Chatman showed his athleticism from the jump. Had another loud single on the first pitch he saw in his third AB, and drew a walk in his final. Aggressive approach at the plate. The outfielder runs with plus speed around the bases, stealing second in the middle innings, and in the outfield. Compact, athletic frame with more room for growth.

CJ Griggs C/1B (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile
Hofstra commit. Tall, strong build, listed at 6’1”200lbs. Presence is felt when he’s in the box, with a powerful, smooth left-handed swing. Uses all parts of the field to hit, with a groundout to first and a loud, hard hit line-out to deep left field, and a towering fly out to center. Defensively sound behind the plate. Soft hands and sticks the pitch receiving. Works low and meets the pitch.

Isaac Quiles SS (‘25,CT) • View Player Profile
Lead off the game for Gap2Gap 17U with a single. Hit started his squad’s first inning scoring, with a double plating him the next AB. Showed some raw power with a deep fly out to left. Strong arm across the diamond with smooth, quick hands and clean footwork. Athletic frame with plenty more room for growth and improvement.

John Devine RHP (‘24,RI) • View Player Profile 
Devine was dominant in his 4 inning start today. The big righty showcased a heavy fastball topping at 88, w/ a slider and cutter to complement. Devine was able to keep hitters off balance, mixing his pitches well, and getting ahead in counts.

Dillon Haddock C (‘27,NJ) • View Player Profile 
The backstop for USA Prime had a good day at the field. Haddock showed off his defensive skill set, smothering balls in the dirt. The RHH finished the day 1-3 w/ a HBP and scored twice. Haddock’s uncommitted at the time, but project well with his size and athleticism.

Derek Diaz RHP (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile
The Le Moyne commit took the mound for Westchester Academy today. Diaz used three pitches, FB, CB, and CH. He pitched to contact throughout his start, generating weak contact consistently. Diaz’s highlight of the day came with 1 out bases loaded, where he induced an inning ending double play to keep the Outlaws scoreless. Diaz added a base hit in the 5th with a single to center.

Liam Monahan RHP (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile 
The 6’3 righty looked poised today against Westchester Academy. Monahan relied heavily on his FB, CB mix, landing both consistently. Hitters struggled against his CB, swinging over it due to its big break. He was able to work around traffic getting through 6 innings.

Trevor Cser LHP (‘26,CT) • View Player Profile
Cser was impressive in his start against Westchester Academy. He was able to drop in timely off speed pitches, keeping Westchester at bay. The lefty throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an easy, repeatable motion, making it difficult to distinguish between his FB w/ good ASR (T82) and SL w/ sharp downward break (T73). Cser projects well for the future.

Jake McGarry C (‘25,MA) • View Player Profile 
McGarry showed off his skillset in both sides of the ball. He has fluid hips that let him drive the ball to the gaps. Combining his hips with good discipline, McGarry is good at working the count and getting deep into at bats. The uncommitted catcher looks to continue his strong showcase.

Danny Rodriguez 1B/3B (‘25,CT) • View Player Profile 
Rodriguez comes in at 5’11, 176lbs. Good at bats throughout the day, as he barreled up a couple, capped off by a two run single into center field to take the lead for Gap2Gap. A quiet approach, w/ little pre-pitch movement, Rodriguez explodes through the zone w/ his bat. Moves well w/ good athleticism in the field as well.

Justin Parodi C/1B (‘25,NY) • View Player Profile 
Parodi played very well for Westchester today in their doubleheader. After catching game one, he moved to first where he continued his strong defensive game. As a hitter, he showed his ability to keep his weight back and drive through the ball. He finished the day with multiple base knocks into the outfield.

Alejandro Diaz SS (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile

Diaz is your typical leadoff guy, great bat to ball skills with great speed on the bases stealing 2 bases today along with 2 base hits. Diaz is a huge threat on the bases and creates great opportunities for his team to score.

Brody Boyd (‘27,NJ) • View Player Profile

Boyd is a 5’11 180lbs infielder with a short wuick stride and really gets his hips into the ball when he swings. With room to grow Boyd shows flashes of making hard contact in the gaps and went 2-3 with a double this afternoon.

John Freitag OF (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile

The Villanova commit is a great athlete with great tools. The lefty batter has a huge 6’5 frame along with 215lbs . Rohan uses his build to his advantage and has great discipline at the plate and really looks for his pitch to drive. With his high leg kick load Rohan keeps his hands back and still makes hard contact on the ball. Today he lined a ground rule double in his first at bat.

Abe Rosario OF (‘26,CT) • View Player Profile

Rosario has a calm but violent swing. He gets into his hips quick and unloads on the baseball. Rosario’s speed and power makes extra base hits with ease as he had 2 doubles and a single today. His speed is also key in the outfield as he makes great reads of fly balls and gets to them easily.

DAY 3


David Cavolloro LHP (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile
Cavolloro came in to close in the 7th and slammed the door for Scorpions New England. He struck out the side, walking one with a low 80s FB (T82) and tight slider. Rebounded fast and started the next game, working out of a jam scoreless. Smooth, easy mechanics, fluently moving down the mound, creating effortless velocity. Rising sophomore, currently uncommitted.

Jacob Sylvester CF (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile
LHH from Scorpions New England. RBI single in the 8am game. Barreled up a triple to the left-center gap, showing off his speed around the bases. Smooth, quick swing, generating solid contact. Solid approach at the plate, seeing pitches deep in the zone, with ability to hit to both gaps. Fast build, more room for growth going into his junior year.

Jackson Hohl RHP/OF (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile
Hohl showed some of his raw power, smashing a 2 RBI stand-up triple to deep left center. Long swing, keeping his barrel through the zone, with his hands staying on plane. Shows potential on the mound with life on his FB, mixing in a SL and CH. Tall, lanky frame at 6’3” 180 with more in the tank. Uncommitted, rising junior.

Jovani Segarra LHP (‘25,NY) • View Player Profile
LHP lives in the zone. FB rides through the zone, sitting low 80s. Sharp SL with tight spin with feel for the pitch. Whippy, fast arm action with clean delivery. Uses lower half efficiently to create energy moving down the mound. Competitive in all counts, continued to attack hitters. Projectable frame with velo left in the tank. Rising senior, currently uncommitted.

Sammy Mendez RHP (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile
A day after Mendez picked up a save, he started for Westchester Baseball Academy. Fills up the zone with FB, CB, and SL. Mixes up timing of delivery with double pump leg kicks and quick deliveries. Strong, compact build, using his lower half to its potential, with efficient arm action. Mercy commit.

Colton Simas SS (‘28,RI) • View Player Profile
Lead off Eastern Elite Baseball NE’s game with a barreled single up the middle. Smooth, athletic swing, takes hands straight to the baseball and stays on plane. Added an infield single and a couple stolen bags on the day. Plus arm for age across the diamond, with good footwork and smooth hands. Incoming freshman with potential to be a fit for a future program.

Tyler Older 2B (‘25,NY) • View Player Profile
Older had a solid day against Westchester Academy. The LHH made solid contact in all three at bats, finishing 1-3 with a single and a run scored. Defensively Older moves well laterally, and has good footwork when turning double plays.

CJ Griggs C/1B (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile
The Hofstra commit had a day, going 2-3 at the plate including an RBI single in the first to give Westchester Academy the lead. Griggs shifts his body weight well, transferring it from his legs into the barrel. Quick hands, combined with good plate discipline makes Griggs a difficult out for pitchers.

Aiden Riley 1B (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile
The big first baseman looked good during his at bats against the Canes. The RHH drove in a run on a deep fly ball before walking in his next at bat. Riley uses a short step for timing and keeps his hands inside. His barrel stays through the zone making solid, quality contact.

Jackson Veneziano SS (‘27,NJ) • View Player Profile 

USA Prime’s shortstop showed out on the field today. In his first at bat, Veneziano smoked a ball down the left field line for a triple. He added a line drive RBI single in the 5th. Veneziano is a smooth defender, who moves well laterally and has an accurate arm.

Michael Peacock 1B (‘26,MA) • View Player Profile 
Peacock comes in at 5’11 210lbs. The first baseman had three hard hit balls, finishing 1-3 with a single. He has a quiet load with no step, instead uses his hips and weight transfer to drive the baseball. The uncommitted Cane will look to build on his day two success.

Will Haggerty RHP (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile

Haggerty has a presence on the mound working very quick giving hitters no time to get comfortable. Haggerty up to 86 on his FB with great ASR and a wipeout slider that buckles hitters. Haggerty only a 27 grad looks to be a top velocity arm for his class in the future.

Conor Brill LHP (‘26,CT)

Brill was doing it all for his team today. Standing at 6’1 the left hander has some room to grow at only 175lbs . Coming out against a solid Scorpions team Brill raised his game. Pitching very well in 4 innings he had 7ks. At the plate Brill hit an RBI single to tie the game in the 6th.

Tyler Castrataro OF (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile

The Hostra commit has a incredibly violent swing barreling balls consistently. Castrataro looks for his pitch and does damage when he connects 2-2 with a double and a RBI triple today looking for more early in the game.

Zayden Kent RHP (‘26,RI) • View Player Profile

Kent only 26 standing at 6’3 200lbs has so much room to grow. Has a very efficient arm action and extends well down the mound. Kent features a FB that touches 81. Kent went 6 strong innings only allowing one run to cross with 10K’s.

Dillon Haddock C (‘27,NJ) • View Player Profile 
Haddock makes another appearance on the scout blog. Haddock is an absolute stud behind the plate and at the plate. His speed mixed with his high contact makes it easy for him to leg out ground balls in the infield. Haddock behind the dish has very calm hands and really gets underneath the baseball to bring the low pitches up and make them strikes.

DJ Reissman INF (‘27,NJ) • View Player Profile
Reissman has had a great tournament so far. Connecting with bat and mashing balls all over the field. He has a very smooth and athletic swing mixed with his power he is a fantastic hitter and is able to drive in many runs. Today Reissman went 2-3 with a single and a RBI triple and continues to hit balls into the gaps.

DAY 4


Justin Odsen RHP (‘24,RI) • View Player Profile
Southeastern Illinois College commit. Tall, athletic right hander attacks hitters with 4S FB, 2S FB, SL, and CH. FB sits in the low 80s, both 4S and 2S. Plus feel for CH, using it to get ahead and strike guys out, generating swing and miss. Commanded the zone, working east to west and elevating when needed. Worked 2 scoreless innings.

Carlos Merejo C (‘24,RI) • View Player Profile
The CCSU commit continued his strong tournament on Monday, smashing one into the right center gap, clearing the bases for a 3 RBI triple. Violent, powerful swing with plus bat to ball skills. Defensively sound behind the plate, vocal leadership on and off of the field, taking control of the game.

Andrew Nocera OF (‘25,RI) • View Player Profile
Uncommitted riding senior had himself a day at the plate. Drew a walk to lead off the game, followed by a barreled single, and hustle double down the right field line. Shows plus speed around the bases, stealing 2 bases in Game 1. Went 2-2 with a single, double, and 3 stolen bases in Game 2. Athletic, fast build with potential to add more.

Brady Gibbons 3B (‘25,MA) • View Player Profile
Gibbons smoked a line drive RBI double to deep left, ambushing a fastball in his first AB of the day. Strong, aggressive swing with some juice. Keeps hands on plane and barrel through the zone. Listed at 6’ 225lbs, holds a powerful build and room to add more strength.

Anthony Mena RHP (24,RI) • View Player Profile
Mena has a prototypical pitcher’s build at 6’6” 220lbs. FB sits in the low 80s (T83) with an 11-5 CB at 72, with feel for both in the zone. Works east to west. He is just cracking his potential, with more room to further improve moving downhill and using his lower half. Much more in the tank for the Assumption commit.

Nick DeRosa OF (‘27,MA) • View Player Profile 
DeRosa put together 3 competitive at bats, finishing 1-3 with an RBI double. The speedy outfielder was able to turn around an inside fastball to give the Devils an early lead. DeRosa uses a small leg lift for timing followed by keeping his hands inside to get the bat through the zone.

Jaiden Morales 1B/3B (‘26,CT) • View Player Profile 
Morales starred on the field for Gap2Gap. The corner infielder finished the day with two extra base hits including a homerun over the right field wall. The smooth swinging lefty has a good load and weight transfer which leads to his above average power and excellent day at the plate.

Benjamin Tetreault RHP (‘27,CT) • View Player Profile 
Tetreault was dealing as he pitched a one run complete game against the Devils. The 6’1 righty used a three pitch repertoire, FB(T73), BB (T65), CH(T64). Tetreault got ahead of batters early, landing his off-speed consistently for strikes. Tetreault finished strong, retiring the last 7 batters faced.

Ernesto Diana SS (‘27,CT) • View Player Profile 
The speedy shortstop for Gap2Gap Baseball played well today, finishing the day 2-3 with a double and a run scored. Diana has fast hands, letting him get to the inside pitch. Defensively, Diana made every play showing his quick feet laterally and an accurate arm while making throws on the run.

Henry Alfonso C (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile
Alfonso got the Scorpions going early today with a two run triple in the first. Good plate discipline, as he was able to stay back on the off speed and drive the ball to the gap. With his athleticism, skill, and size, Alfonso projects well for the future.

Will Haggerty INF (‘27,RI) • View Player Profile
The speedy middle infielder was making plays all over the diamond. Haggerty singled in the third, stole second and later came around to score. Haggerty stays through the baseball, extending his arms, driving it up the middle. With the glove, Haggerty made a couple nice stops at second including a sliding catch to take away a base hit.

Derek Diaz C (‘24,NY) • View Player Profile

Diaz, the Lemonye Baseball commit has a physical build. At 5’9 185lbs Diaz hunts for his pitch doing damage when he connects. Diaz has a great presence and feel in the box knowing the zone and keeping his hands back for any off speed. Diaz 2-2 with a RBI single looking for more today.

Daniel Conrad 1B (‘26,NH) • View Player Profile

Conrad with a huge frame at 6’4 210lbs. Conrad at the plate has a very physical and smooth swing. The lefty brings power and contact when he’s up and can really connect when he gets his pitch. Conrad in todays game had very good swings putting bat to ball and barreling them.

Jeremy O’Hara 3B (‘26,MA)

O’Hara at the plate has a smooth calm and athletic swing. Keep his bat on plane and in the zone for a while. O’Hara is very aggressive and is not afraid to swing first pitch so pitches must hit their spots or he will do damage. O’Hara went 2-3 with a double and three hard hit balls today.

Jaylin Manson OF (‘25,CT) • View Player Profile

The left handed hitter is athletic, features a smooth quick trigger swing. Keeps his hands back to drive the ball the other way and has great speed along with that. Manson is a threat to run or extend ingles into doubles. Manson had a 2 RBI single in a pivotal semi final win.

Kyle Stephens C (‘24,CT) • View Player Profile

The Albany commit stands at 6’1 205lbs, big frame carries a violent swing. Stephens keeps his hands low and drives his back hip through the ball and has gap to gap power. Stephens crushed a double in todays win which put their team in a fantastic spot to take the lead and win the game.

Robert Wunsch RHP (‘25,CT) • View Player Profile

Wunsch came into relief today for his team and shut the door. Wunsch gets downhill quick and fires his pitch. He mixed well in and out and his CB buckles hitters. Wunsch’s FB reached 85mph while sitting 80-82 and could be a great fit for a program in the near future.
