The "Uncommitted Spotlight" blog series serves to draw attention to available prospects. The players included either possess college ready tools or show college level projection. Click on the player's name to view their player profile.

Anthony Medina ('24,FL) MIF

5'10" 155lbs. Above average hands with a hop in the step to go with some flair from the field. He has a strong arm for his size that gets into the upper 80s on throws across the diamond. Offensively has the right idea; barrel works in the right direction. Gap to gap guy with 6.9 60 speed.

Dylan Howell ('24,FL) C

6'1" 165lbs. Initially stood out as a catch and throw guy from behind the plate at the Elite Squad Tryouts last month; accuracy was present, arm strength was at 78, and he got the ball out quick to notch multiple sub 1.9 showcase pops. Really like the profile at the plate as well. Dylan doesn't try to help it through contact and he keeps a good hitter's posture; attacks the ball positively. Also produced at the plate in live action. Will be at TOPPS National on June 8th in Palm Beach.

Dylan Prince ('25,FL) INF

5'10" 165lbs. Just great all around. Possesses D1 tools with the ability to play all INF positions. Defensively pure; very comfortable being athletic and makes throws off the right foot with ease. He was up to 88 on his throws across the diamond. The swing is already advanced and is going to create a lot of XBHs in his future. A lot of triples should also be in the cards as well with his 6.7 60.

Seamus Moylan ('27,FL) C

5'8" 150lbs. I was very impressed with the 13 year old catcher at the Scorpions Tryouts earlier this month. Seamus showed extremely polished actions both defensively and offensively for his age. Seamus grabbed a 2.05 pop time while tossing 73 down with accuracy. The swing also showed mature moves that included working uphill to contact and driving balls to deep center.

Shane Lavin ('24,FL) LHP

5'9" 172lbs. Really high on this southpaw. At the Scorpions Tryout Shane showed an immense feel for the strike zone with his FB/BB combo; the east-west overlay/tunnel was just unfair for hitters. He was 86-87 on the tailing FB with a hammer slurve at 74-76 that he went to a lot. Was confident going FB/BB in any count, but opted for BB as the dagger pitch during this outing.
