Prospect Select Baseball Announces Jordan Miller as New Assistant National Director of Scouting
Homestead, FL – January 10, 2025 – Prospect Select Baseball is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jordan Miller as the new Assistant National Director of Scouting and Technology. With a wealth of experience and a proven track record in coaching and recruiting as well as extensive work with Blast Motion, Rapsodo, Hit Trax, and FlightScope, Miller is set to bring a fresh perspective and innovative strategies to our scouting department.
Miller joins us from Southern Wesleyan University, where he served as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator. His tenure there was marked by significant achievements in player development and recruitment, contributing to the team’s competitive success.
Prior to his role at South Wesleyan, Miller was an assistant coach at his alma mater, USC Upstate, where he played in more than 30 games in each of his four seasons. His deep connection to the institution and his commitment to excellence were evident in his contributions to the team’s performance and player growth.
Miller also brings valuable experience from his time as a hitting coach at Eastern Mennonite University. Preceding that he worked as an assistant with the James Madison Dukes. His expertise in hitting mechanics and player mentorship has been instrumental in shaping the career of many aspiring athletes.
In his new role, Jordan Miller will oversee tournament, showcase, scout day, and event coverage scouting. He will be responsible for implementing effective strategies to highlight participants, helping them pursue their collegiate and professional aspirations. His comprehensive approach to scouting and player development is expected to elevate our scouting department to new heights.
