DAY 1

Brian Crowder OF (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
A two-sport outfielder that has elite level speed. He batted leadoff for his team today and fit nicely into that spot going 3-3 and a sac fly. He also added two steals on the base path. That’s what you need out of a leadoff guy, getting on base and advancing into scoring position. He used that speed well in the outfield going gap to gap. Coaches will love a two-sport athlete that has the work ethic to continue to improve.

Wyatt Hedrick MIF (‘24,NC) • View Player Profile
Already committed to compete at the next level to Wake Tech, but he still came out and showed some talent. He’s got a very powerful leg lift and swing. It’s a little reminiscent of Bryce Harper’s load where he brings all his weight into that back leg and then lets it unleash before the pitch gets to the plate. That load produced 2 hard hits one of which cleared the RF wall for a solo shot. His arm is a little lacking at SS but projects well to slot into a 2B spot.

Jessen Copeland 3B/INF (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
A L/R split infielder that has a solid foundation built up. He stand 5’10 180 and produces a nice swing front that position. He uses a small load that gets his hands back and ready to unload. He had two great AB’s smoking a ball into the 3-hole that scored a few runs for his team. Plays a premium position showcasing soft hands and a good feel for his glove.

Sawyer Smith RHP (‘26,SC) • View Player Profile
The UNC commit did everything today in a dominant performance by his team. In two AB he collected a BB and a single through the 6-hole. Sawyer waited back on a BB and sent a LD to LF. On the mound he had a dominant inning. He faced 3 batters and struck out the side. The FB was 85-86 w/ a tight BB.

Brendan Snider OF (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
The smooth LHH looked good at the plate today driving a single back up the middle in his first AB for an RBI. Snider also collected a BB. Brendan came in to pitch in the last inning in a tough spot w/ bases loaded. He got his team out of a jam to slam the door. Brendan's FB was up to 80 from a low 3/4 AS.

Caleb Ellis RHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Ellis was impressive in a dominant 2 innings. He struck out 4 of the 6 batters he faced in 2 perfect innings. The FB was up to 88 w/ sink. He threw a lot of back door SNK that left batters frozen. Caleb mixed in a BB at 72 but did not use it much.

Luca Reyner SS (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Reyner had a very productive game for his team, tallied 3 hits with a single up the middle in the first, an RBI single line drive by in the infield, and another single through the 5/6 hole later in the game. Also stayed active in the field at short stop, clean glove with a fast release with his arm that stayed accurate in throws to first all day, didn’t have any errors or overthrown balls, stayed consistent throughout the day on both sides.

Kyle Kroehler OF (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Kroehler has a projectable frame at 6’ 160Ib, looked sharp in the box with a strong swing, produced 2 hits on the day with a single in the bottom of the 1st and a double later in the game by 3B along the left field line. Very active bat, with present power at the plate.

Gavin Pacileo RHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Pacileo has a projectable frame with a 6’4 195Ib build, was dominant on the mound pitching a complete game only allowing one run. FB topped out at 82, and utilized a mix between a CH/SL that left batters confused all game. CH sat at 74 w/ the SL playing 74-75. Threw a high arm lot with a lot of ASR with his length and size. Lot of potential as he continues to develop and gain higher velo.

Luke Kessler C (‘26,SC) • View Player Profile
Kessler came up huge for his team today. To start his day off he roped a ball to RF for a 3 run double clearing the bases. This gave his team a spark as they took the lead. Later in the day he hit a single to LF brining in another run. Kessler had 4 rbis on the day collecting 2 hits being a leader on the offense today.

Aries Oliver OF (‘26,VA) • View Player Profile
Oliver had a great day today overall on both sides of the ball. Oliver collected 2 singles today. He showed off a consistent ability to barrel the baseball and showed off quick speeds hustling from 1st to 3rd. Oliver has a big frame with tons of upside. A player to keep an eye on.

Landen Smith C (‘27,NC) • View Player Profile

Catcher with a big frame who will look to increase strength as he progresses. Hot day at the plate going 2-3, with a 2B. He RHH has pop in bat that shows flashes to progress. DAY 2

Hunter Hlavacek 2B (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Hlavacek had a great day at the plate collecting 3 hits in this game. I’m the first inning he went backside for a double down the LF line for an RBI. The next two at bats he had base hits up the middle. It was evident Hunter was trying to use the middle of the field in this game leading to 3 hits.

Eli Gann RHP (‘27,NC) • View Player Profile
Gann threw a 5 inning CG shutout because of mercury rule. He was superb on the bump showing 3 pitches with command. Peppered the outside corner all day with an ASR FB that left batters frozen. Showed the ability to throw a R on R CH w/ confidence.

Gavin Jackson 1B (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Jackson was another ZT Prospect who had a good day at the plate. His first hit was a laser to CF for an RBI single. In his last AB he destroyed a ball over the LF head for an RBI 2B that just barely stayed in the yard. Gavin had a physical frame at 6’4 215 lbs w/ a lot of power.

Conner Berry RHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Berry struggled w/ command in the first inning but showed the ability to a just as he settled in and went 5 IP 2 ER. Lanky frame that tan the FB up to 87. He also displayed a sharp CB that the hitters struggled to hit. I would have liked to see more CB as it was a really good pitch. Berry picked up the W for DPC in this one.

Elijah Vega RHP (‘27,NC) • View Player Profile
Vega threw a NO HITTER in 5 IP due to mercy rule. The lanky and whippy frame produced a lot of swing and misses as he collected 8 k. Vega had great feel for his SL and used it more later in the game for strikes. Elijah was up to 86 in the first w/ the FB.

Hayes Clark RHP (‘26,SC) • View Player Profile
Clark had an excellent day starting on the bump. The uncommitted RHP was very efficient with strong command throughout the game. FB 84-85, SL 80, CH 76. Clark mixed his pitches well keeping the hitters guessing. Has lots of room for growth with very good stuff. A player to keep an eye on.

Blake Lackey MIF (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Lackey had a great day at the dish collecting 2 hits on the day. Showed a simple approach with a smooth swing. Lackey came up big for his team today smoking a ball backside to start a rally for his team in the 7th. Quick runner with great defense at the MIF positions.

Tate Jensen LHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
The southpaw had a great start today for his team. Flashed eletric stuff all day with FB 85-86, CB 70, CH 76. Great 2 offspeed pitches and mixed them well. Has high upside with his size at 6’3 190lbs. Big time pitcher with big time stuff. Jensen also showed solid command today and got out of jams limiting the damage.

Caden Davidson 1B (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Davidson was the star for his offense today. He showed off his power by blasting a 2 run no doubter over the LF wall w/ an EV of 99. He has a 6’3 200lbs frame with a smooth swing and tons of power. Davidson’s 2 run blast put his team in the lead early in the game and set the tone. Big time hitter with high upside w/ his frame.

Ty Davis RHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Davis showed eletric stuff coming in tor relief for his team. Had a great offspeed CB at 74 to mix with his FB 89-90 T92. Davis kept hitters off balance mixing the offspeed with his eletric fastball all game. Big time pitcher coming in and slammed the door, holding the other team.

John Hucko LHP (‘27,NC) • View Player Profile
Hucko is a strong lefty pitcher, shoved for his team last night in 2 innings, delivered insane speed off the mound with his 3 pitch mix FB/CH/CRV, FB topped out at over 89 w/ up to 2200 RPM, and left his batters constantly confused with his CRV at 74-75 and CH at 76-77. Even delivered two barreled knocks to the outfield for a single into RCF with his compact swing. Elite potential for the young lefty pitcher as he continues to develop with his high velo FB off the mound.

Hoffman had a productive day for his team, kept his team in the game throwing 5 innings allowing 1 run, had nice control with his pitches, good direction through the zone. Loved the effort battling the batters in the count. FB topped out at 84, with the SL sitting 77 with up to 2500 RPM. Utilized the slider well all day, was the focal pitch he used that delivered.

Carson Mentlewski 1B (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Mentlewski has a strong frame at 6’4 230Ib, powerful swing uses his strength to deliver barreled hot shots to the outfield. First at-bat nuked a ball to the center field fence bouncing off the top for a 2RBI double to take an early game lead for his team. Very strong hitter, has impressive skills with the bat. High potential for the kid as he continues to develop.

Brody Brown RHP (‘28,NC) • View Player Profile
First thing you notice about Brown is his clean arm action. He throws from the stretch to simplify his mechanics keeping everything under control. His release creates substantial ASR into RHH and away from LHH. He used that to his advantage the whole game by bearing in on RHH’s up in the zone. Not a ton of hitters but on his BB, but it was still a solid pitch with good vertical and horizontal movement. He topped at 81.

Tyler Wagner RHP (‘27,NC) • View Player Profile
Lanky, young, and tall RHP bringing the heat. He really only had command of the FB, but it was a good one that presented considerable ASR. He used his legs well to power it thru the zone at 84. Massive upside for Wagner as he’s only 15 but stands 6’1 already.

DAY 3

Trey Williford LHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Williford was a two way star for his team today in the first round of bracket play. On the mound the southpaw showed eletric stuff shutting out a offense in 5 innings. FB 90-91, SL 78, CH 80. The lefty had tons of swing and miss w/ great command pounding the strike zone. On the plate he collected 2 hits with those being a RBI single and a double. The UNCW commit had a great day and is one of the top arms in this tournament for a reason.

Heath Craver RHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Craver showed eletric stuff on the bump today. Had a great 2 pitch mix with a FB sitting 88-90 topping out at 94, CB 81. The uncommitted rising junior has the highest velocity of the tournament so far. Craver showed great command and confused hitters with his offspeed.

Carson Mentlewski 1B (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
A physically imposing 16 year old who plays a solid 1B. He stands 6’3 215lbs, but moves well for his size. The pop was limited due to the wood bats, but he was making contact all game to the tune of 3 hits, 2 singes and a double. He was seeing the ball very well as 2 of the 3 hits came on BB’s down in the zone. He kept the bat head level and went down and got them each time. Solid contact hitter with good eyes.

Braylon Waddell UTIL (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
More speed on display today from the C35 all around player. He started at SS and moved around into the outfield during the game. He’s got the athleticism and skill set to play any MIF and OF position. At the plate he was 2-3 w/a HH double that made it to the warning track on a great backside approach. His other hit showcased the speed as he hit GB to SS and legged it out for a single. He moves extremely well, a 6.7 guy or quicker.

Trevor Friend RHP/OF (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Lanky and tall standing 6’3 bringing lots of arm to his motion. He goes from the stretch to simplify things which turns out well for him. The FB was up to 86 and sat 84 most of his 4 innings of work. Batters were able to hit it, but he kept most of the balls on the ground or easy pop flys to infield positions. He threw a couple BB’s and had a couple good ones that the hitters swung over. More potential in his arm as he only allowed 1 run in 4.1 innings of work.

Asa Coplin LHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
Coplin was good on the mound and at the plate today. He went 5.2 IP 2 ER. Both of these ER came w/ two outs in the 6th as he could have been fatigued. He had a FB/CB mix throughout this game. At the plate he collected two hits, one of these burning the CF for an RBI 2B.

Loehr was impressive at the plate in two games. The first game a crushed a ball over the LF head that one hopped the fence for a 2B. In the second game he made more loud contact. The high leg kick RHH collected two more hits in the second game. Brandon has a lot of pull side pwr and showed it in two games.
