DAY 1

Sebastian Rodriguez 2B (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Rodriguez had an excellent day at the plate in this one. Although his team only scored 2 runs he had 3 hits on the day. In his first AB he drove a pitch into the RC gap for a 2B. The next two AB he had singles to CF and RF. The uncommitted 2B has a short, quick swing that should produce consistent contact. He doesn’t try and do to much at the plate and puts the barrel on the ball.

Heath Craver LF/RHP (‘26,NC) • View Player Profile
The uncommitted LF was one of the few players who had a good day at the plate. Heath collected two hits in this one. He also made a good play in LF sliding on a knee to make a catch down the line. The first AB was impressive as he battled back from 2k and pulled a LD single to lead off the game. His second hit he went down and got a CH and drove a double to RC.

Eli Stone OF (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
Stone had a gritty day at the plate. He had one hit, this being a 2 RBI LD through the 6-hole. This extended their lead to 10. In the AB before he tried to bunt for a hit. After being down in the AB he battled back to draw a BB. On the bases, Eli stole two bases, both of which were not even close.

After the first inning he cruised through the rest of the game. He had some tough luck in the first w/ a bloop single but got out of it by getting a strikeout and a DP.

Cameron Curtis RF (‘24,TN) • View Player Profile
Curtis stood out on offense and defense. On the defensive side he had an absolute canon from the OF. He had multiple throws to third and home that were close plays but unfortunately we’re safe. On the offensive side Cameron had two hits. One of the hits was a LD off the pitcher and the second hit was a single through the 4-hole on a BB.

Nick Felton OF (‘25,MD) • View Player Profile

Nick has an easy swing that produces hard contact. His second AB he wore a HBP w/ 2k. On the bases he had a DBR that put him at 2B and later allowed him to score. Felton has a smooth LHH swing w/ baseball IQ.

Nate Hawton-Henley OF (‘25,VA) • View Player Profile
Nate was in the middle of the order for a reason. The Maryland Commit crushed a ball to RC w/ an EV of 96. This ended up being a RBI 2B. This type of backside power is eye opening and makes you wonder what type of power he can produce to the pull side. His RC approach allowed him to produce this much power to the opposite field gap.

Evan Myers LHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
The Western Carolina Commit was electric this morning tossing 4 no hit innings. To start hus outting he struck out the side and collected 11 total K’s through 4 innings. FB 88-89, SL 79, CH 78. Played the game hard for his team today. Led from the infield, directly his players when and where to be during plays. He made some savvy plays at second showcasing a strong arm as he had a smooth flip release to 1B. At the plate he lead the team with 2 H’s, both going down the LF line. Hands were quick and he fired well straight to the baseball.

Cross Yarborough C (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
Thoroughly impressed by his arm today. He threw out 4 runners on the base path today, 3 at second and 1 on a back pick at first. He had a laser, as the ball just jumps out of his hand. Yarborough also demonstrated his leadership qualities helping his pitcher locate and execute all his pitches. He was constantly talking and keeping them in the at bat. Not enough can be said about his natural feel for the position. He also contributed 2 runs on the day with a 2 RBI base knock.

JR Lopez OF/LHP (‘27,SC)
An electric arm from the left side. He came in to relive the starter finishing the last 2 innings of the game. He’s only 15 and was pumping the FB up to 85-86 w/2200 rpm. Nobody could touch his stuff - he face 7 batters and struck out 6 while walking the lone non out. Of those 6, 4 of them were backwards K’s, clearly showcasing his ability to confuse and manipulate hitters into his count. Huge upward potential in the young lefty.

Gabe Ferrell RHP (‘25,NC)
Came in relief during the 3rd inning and overpowered hitters for the next two innings as his team run ruled their opponents. He flashed some good metrics topping at 86 w/2200 to 2300 rpm’s, pairing that heavy FB w/ a CV that had some great break on it. He made hitters look silly striking out the side the first inning he came in. Towards the end the velocity waned a little bit, but he still finished strong allowing no runs in his relief appearance.

Neil Gornto RHP (‘25,FL) • View Player Profile
Righty brought the metrics out on the day with an electric FB that topped out at 87. With his delivery he hides the ball well making it hard for hitters to go up and get it when it comes out of his hand. His FB tunnels well with his SW that would run from right to left. There’s upside potential if he gets a coach in and helps with his “pitching sense”. Managed to go 3 scoreless before the control issues took hold.

Ryker Butcher C (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
The catcher had an active day, getting his team started early on with a bases clearing triple to left center field to put his team up early, read the pitch and delivered a barreled line drive to score 2 runs for his team. Nick Russo RHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Russo showed some really good stuff in this one. FB was up to 89 early in the outing w/ a BB at 72. Nick did not use the BB as much as I would have liked to see. He struggled to find his command in the third where he surrendered his 2 ER in the outing but showed a lively FB throughout the game. Russo has a projectable frame at 6’3 210 lbs and could see added velo.

Tyler Ruhl SS (‘26,VA) • View Player Profile

Tanner Britt SS (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Naturally athletic INF that showcased his defensive abilities today. He was the leader on the field calling defensive shifts and letting his teammates know when it was his ball. Thru the first 3 innings he made 5 plays in which he wasted no movements gobbling the ball ups and firing to first base. His transition from glove to hand w/the ball was seamless and let him release some heat behind it. He’s on the smaller side, but more importantly he had the speed to make up for it.

Strongly built RHP was using his legs well today to bring the RPM’s. He flashed a FB at 86 that was able to pump through the zone w/2200 rpm’s. Kody Romero RHP (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
A gamer of a RHP. He managed to battle and get himself out of tricky situations time and time again. There was a pitchers duel brewing the whole game as Fones would go out and throw a good inning and Romero would come back out and answer. He also managed to touch 86 FB but w/less rpm’s. His CH was his K pitch as it tunneled well w/his FB. He managed to located the FB and then place the CH in the same spot to generate some swing & miss.

He is a patient hitter who comes into the box with a plan, and doesn't help the pitcher chasing balls. He waits for his pitch, and is on time when he gets it. Isaiah Pinero RHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
The 6’ 165Ib uncommitted RHP displayed a dominant performance for his team today, covering 4 innings only allowing 1 run, pushed the FB up to 85, however primarily utilized the SL at 70 with crazy spin, delivered the ball in the zone and dropped it low and away from the batter last second, than would push the FB up high which led to his 10Ks. Isaiah needs to work on his control a little bit as he did have 2 walks and a hit a batter, however with development I see high potential with his skills.

Luke McGuffin RHP (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
McGuffin had a scoreless game through 4 innings of play, worked the FB 78-79 all day, pushed it max 80, mixed with his nasty 68-69 diving CRV. Barrels the baseball with high exit velocity of the bat, smashed a line drive to the right field wall for a standup double with 92 exit velocity, also barreled a line drive through the middle of the infield. Very quick and powerful strike on the ball, make consistent contact on the ball.

Ayden Clay RHP/UTIL (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
Clay was dominant all game today, pitching a complete game allowing no runs on the day. Shoved the FB max at 86 sat around 85, however mixed in a nasty combination with his SL which sat at 70-71 and had up to 2600RPM. Battled hard all day, had nice control and direction of his pitches.

LJ Green 1B (‘25,OH) • View Player Profile
Large presence standing in the LH batters box. He stands 6’5 and weighs 225. Every time Green came up to bat, he looked as if he was going to send it over the fence, to which he did in his second AB. No wasted movement in his stance & swing, puts the bat head straight to the ball and launches it over the RF fence. Hard contact all day long, hitting the ball 90+ EV in 2-3 AB’s. This was his second HR of a PS tournament, there’s more to come.

Javon Love OF/RHP (‘25,OH)
An athletic stud in the outfield for the Heat. He had 2 opportunities to thrown out runners & took advantage of each. Both times he came up firing to home plate beating each runner by a full step or more. The FS clocked his outfield throws at 89 in real time. He impressed at the plate as well, lacing the ball in his AB’s topping out at a 99EV GB. Finally, to cap his fully packed game off, he came in the last two innings to close the game topping at 87 and spinning a 74 BB.

Jaiden Bosquet RHP (‘25,NH) • View Player Profile
Good mound presence for NEB this morning. He was working downhill in his motion allowing the use of his legs. Gave the FB some heat topping at 86. The motion was smooth, limited wasted movement, and had good hip rotation. The opposing team couldn’t do much against him as he went 5 scoreless innings collecting 7K’s in the process.

Diego Patrick LHP (‘25,SC) • View Player Profile
The uncommitted LHP for the Rays struck out the side in the first. FB was up to 84 w/ a projectable frame at 6’3 190 lbs. Diego absolutely dominated this game going 5 IP 11K. He struck out the first 9 batters of the game. W/ added strength Diego could gain more velo.

Jayden Blackmon CF (‘25,TX) • View Player Profile
Blackmon was full of energy all day and was a big part in his team picking up the W. He collected a 2 RBI hit to put his team up 3 runs by fighting off a SL for a single. In CF he tracked down multiple balls in the gap w/ some impressive speed. Also, he had an OF assist throwing a runner out at 2B trying to stretch a double.

Isaac Freeman C (‘25,SC)
Freeman put his team on the board first w/ an RBI hit through the 6-hole at a 89 EV. In the few innings behind the plate Isaac threw out a runner at 2B and made a good play on a pop up behind the plate.

Gabriel Ferrell LF (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Ferrell showed his versatility in this game. He started the game in LF and smoked a LD base hit through the 4 hole for an RBI. Later in the game he ripped another ball but was straight to the defender and then drew a BB. Half way through the game he moved to the infield and played 2B. Gabriel is a versatile player who has a good feel in the box.

Garrett Sawyer RHP (‘25,NC) • View Player Profile
Sawyer took the mound for the TPA Nationals in this game. He had a 1-2-3 inning striking out two in the first inning. He ended up getting into the third before running into command problems. I believe some of this had to do w/ pitch selection as the other team could not touch his FB and threw 2 2-2 BB that ended in BB. Garrett had a really good sinker getting HB of 23 w/ it up to 89. Garrett has really good stuff and believe would've dominated w/ smarter pitch choice.

DAY 4

Jackson Robinson LHP (‘26,SC) • View Player Profile
The South Carolina commit dominated on the bump for SBA in the semis, going 4 innings of one-hit ball, striking out 4. Robinson isn’t afraid to pound the zone, using both his FB and CH early in the count to get ahead of hitters. Used a tight slider to collect 2 of his Ks. FB 84-86 T87, CH 76-77, SL 75-78. The upcoming junior showed good command in all 3 pitches, with room to grow velocity-wise.

Jhon Abreu LHP (‘25,FL)
Semifinal starter for Original FL Pokers who worked ahead of most hitters, with a dominating heater that he can move across the whole plate +3 inches the outer or inner 3rd. FB 86-87, T88 Showed good stuff, CH that plays off the heater, can use the heater for KS as well. CH 78-80, SL 75-77. Went 6IP 0R 6K 2H, picking up the win. Uncommitted at this time.

Logan Satter RHP (‘26,SC) • View Player Profile
Commanding and electric arm out of the pen for Legacy Baseball, satter jumped in early and dominated his 2 innings with the FB. FB sat 88-89, T90 with good ASR. Tunnled it well with a slider, booth pitches having good RPM 2400FB and 2600 on the SL. Used the SL to pick up his only K of the outing. Satter is uncommitted at this time.

Brady Marshall 3B ('26,NC) • View Player Profile
The Tennessee commit was impressive offensively and defensively. Brady made a couple good plays at 3B and came up w/ two knocks today helping his team win the championship. However, what stood out the most was his leadership. Throughout the game he was supporting his team and being the spark plug in the dugout helping bring his team energy.

Jacob Smith 1B ('26,NC)
The NC State commit impressed me early and not because of results but for how he understood the game. Although Jacob collected multiple hits today while one was to tie the game in the semis. In his first AB he was fooled by a BB in the dirt. The pitcher immediately came back to that pitch and it looked like Jacob sat on it knowing he was fooled the pitch before. This is the part of hitting that’s hard to teach and the AB ended w/ a single to RC.

Harrison Ailshie OF ('26,NC)
The uncommitted OF hit middle of the order for a reason in these two games. While he is uncommitted he won’t be for long. Every AB in the two games Harrison put together a great AB. When he got down in the count he found a way to at least grind a couple more pitches. I’m the first game he had some tough luck but barreled three balls. Only one of these ended in a hit but one was a LD out to 1B and the other was to deep RC
