EAST COBB BASEBALL ACADEMY

Draft Follows

Tay Harris (2022 Walters State Commit): Looks the part with an athletic frame and backs it up on the field with an advanced approach at the plate coupled with an ability to change games with one swing of the bat. Defensively he’s an above average defender from the OF with a 90+ arm.

Jax Phillips (2024 Georgia Commit): 6’4” RHP that can touch 90 and effectively uses all of his pitches highlighting a CB with great depth; simply knows how to pitch. Jax flashes two-way potential with a continued growth at the plate as his projectable body develops.

Drew Bray (2022 Young Harris Commit): Plays clean defense and brings a LH bat to lineups that has delivered in key moments. Strong baseball IQ and fits the mold of an old school “ball player”.

Agyei Quinichett (2022 Kennesaw St. Commit): Strong RHP that knows how to pitch and has been a big game arm at East Cobb baseball throughout his career. Agyei sports a sub 1.00 WHIP with FB touching the low 90s over the last 2 years featuring quality SL/CH as secondary offerings.

Blake Aita (2022 Kennesaw St. Commit): 6’3” RHP featuring FB in low 9s and a really nice three pitch mix that should only get better as he develops physically. No stranger to big games and strong competition.

Pete Craska (2023 Georgia Tech Commit): A swing that scouts have come to love, this Georgia Tech commit’s triple digit exit velocity punishes baseballs. Craska’s continued growth at the plate and ability to open up his power to all fields should give him an opportunity to be an impact bat for years to come

While the velocity sits 81-83 touch 85, he consistently pitches to contact and does not shy away from challenging hitters on the inner half. Deceptive delivery. Projectable body with a velo jump in the foreseeable future. Offensively James will continue to force his way into the lineup batting .375 the last two seasons of a highly competitive schedule

Hunter Dixon (2023): Mid 80’s arm that knows how to pitch and has shown the willingness to put the work in. Hunter’s projectable body and competitive arm should produce low 90s in the near future.

Grayson Goss (2022): Grayson features a 6-5 frame that’s projectable and a fastball that has touched 88 to go with a 12-6 curveball. His still developing CH is the last piece to a bright future.
