The 2025 corner infielder for Gatorball had a very impressive day all around. The 6’2 215lbs uncommitted infielder showcased his abilities well both at the plate and in the field. At the plate, Rapoza had an impressive round of BP, hitting a top exit velo of 103mph, and consistently hitting 100+ exit velos to all fields. His ability to hit backside shined, hitting for power just as good backside as he did pullside. In game, Rapoza ripped a ball to the base of the center field wall for a standup triple at 97EV off the bat. His ability translated well in game and he shined in both settings. Great day all around for the uncommitted 2025 corner infielder.

Hyatt Richardson RHP (‘25,FL) • View Player Profile
The RHP for Gatorball was excellent in 2 innings today. Richardson’s FB T91 and had 3 off-speed pitches (CB,CH,SL) to compliment his heater. The CB was his best off-speed pitch today sitting 76-78 with 2500+ rpm. He attacked the zone early and often with all 4 pitches while being able to throw any of them for a strike in any count. His excellent arm action keeps the ball hidden until the last moment adding more deception and perceived movement to each one of his pitches. Richardson is currently uncommitted.

Aidan Kastensmidt SS/RHP (‘26,FL) • View Player Profile
The RHH/RHP for Gatorball started his day off strong in BP hitting balls hard to both sides of the field and reaching a max EV of 103. He continued to put his power on display when he drove a ball into deep CF during the game that came off his bat at 100mph for an easy standup 3B. Kastensmidt also showed that he has the potential to be dominant on the mound as well. He ran his FB up to 87 which had excellent ASM and also showed a tight spinning slider that was a nice compliment to his FB. Overall, an impressive day for Kastensmidt who is currently uncommitted.

Gabe Garcia MIF (‘26,FL) • View Player Profile
The RHH MIF was excellent all day for Gatorball. He was able to showcase his excellent abilities in the field numerous times today. During the workout and game portion of the showcase, he showed good fundamentals and excellent range at the SS position. Garcia continued his strong day at the plate as well where he repeatedly was making hard contact. His approach at the plate allowed him to capitalize on a pitcher’s mistake or have the ability to take the ball the other way when behind in the count. All in all, an excellent day for Garcia who is currently uncommitted.

Bivens impressed throughout the day with a short, compact swing that delivered a hard-hit single during the game portion of the event. In batting practice, he sprayed the ball all over the field. He has a very quiet approach at the plate and quick hands. As he continues to mature, Bivens should develop into a valuable utility player for a program. Multiple balls hit over 91 EV.

Clarke showcased a strong changeup paired with a fastball that topped out at 86 mph. He effectively mixed his pitches, consistently staying in the bottom of the zone, and demonstrated confidence and poise in attacking hitters. With a solid frame that leaves room for growth, Clarke has the potential to develop into a valuable asset for a collegiate program.

Gagne entered the sim game in relief during the later innings of the showcase, displaying promising potential with a sinking fastball at 84-86 mph. He also flashed a slider at 73-75 mph that has the potential to be a swing-and-miss pitch. If Gagne can further develop his off-speed pitches and continue to rely on the solid movement of his fastball, he could become a valuable bullpen asset for a collegiate program

A lot to like from the uncommitted C. Solid swing from the left side and has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. Good actions behind the dish w/ a strong arm to keep runners put. High upside as he physically matures.
