Braxton Pope (’24,VA) Richmond Braves Platinum Prospects - Good frame at 5’10” 190lbs. The RHP had a good outing Saturday going 3 innings allowing 0 runs and striking out 3. CJ Chatterton (’24,MD) Dig In Baseball National - Physical 5’10” 170lb frame. One of the most impressive all-around players this weekend. The George Mason Commit has been really impressive at the plate tallying a number of XBH and RBIs in 2 games. Has good hands through the zone and plus bat speed. Has consistently found barrels and showed off his pop hitting a couple of balls off the fences this weekend. Smooth MIF that is fundamentally sound with quick hands and a good arm.

Ryan Rey (’25,MD) Dig In Baseball National - Stocky strong frame at 5’10” 165lbs. Really smooth middle infielder with a good arm from both SS and 2B. Showed off his range making a couple of nice backhanded plays up the middle. At the plate, he has a compact swing and keeps the bat through the zone nicely. Showed some pop-barreling one up to the CF fence for a triple. Good uncommitted follow.
Austin Weiss (’25,MD) Dig In Baseball National - Projectable LHP at 6’0” 180lbs. The Maryland Commit dominated on Saturday pitching 3 innings giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, and striking out 5 batters. Works out of a low 3/4 arm slot with a whipping arm motion. Displayed a 2 pitch arsenal of FB and SL. He worked his FB up to 91 locating it well and his SL up to 79 with a tight break. His FB has good arm side run, his SL has a high spin rate and he likes to work it back door.

Connor Flickinger (’26,MD) Canes Mid Atlantic 16u Scout Team - Solid frame at 5’11” 160lbs. Solid bat, showed good plate vision and barrel control putting the ball in play every at bat. Barreled up a number of balls and racked up 2 XBH in two games on Saturday. Generates his power from his lower half and gets good backside rotation. Uncommitted.
Mike Hemelt (’24,MD) Mid Atlantic Dirtbags 2024 - Solid Frame at 6’0” 200lbs. The LHP showed a 3-pitch mix of FB, CB, and CH. He got his FB up to 86 with good movement. Chase Shepherd (’25,MD) East Coast Titans 2024/2025 - Strong frame at 6’1” 200lbs. Dominated in his outing on Saturday going 4 innings and allowing only 1 run. Uses a 2 pitch repertoire of FB and SL. His FB gets up to 83 and he hides it well out of his delivery which allows it to sneak up on hitters. His SL is his best pitch and it gets up to 73 with a lot of horizontal break.
