Tyler Wagner (‘27,NC) On Deck O’s 2027 Black - Wagner kept hitters off balance all day by pounding the zone with both FB and a sharp BB. With a 6 '1'’ 155 lbs frame and a loose arm, there is more to come velocity-wise for Wagner with a FB already topping out at 79mph. Wagner consistently produced bad swings and weak contact while tossing 6 innings of no-hit ball. Should be a high uncommitted follow going forward. 


Cade Gardner (‘24,NC) USA Prime SC 18u - Mars Hill University commit. Gardner showcases plus bat speed and gets the barrel to the ball quickly and aggressively consistently producing hard contact. Also shows good range and a plus arm in the field making tough plays look routine. The Mars Hill staff should be excited to have Gardner coming in and shows all the tools to have an impressive future. 


Logan Sammons (‘24,NC) Athletes Lab 18u Prospects -  Good frame at 5’10’’ 160 lbs. Logan consistently flashes the leather in center field, tracking balls extremely well and showing the ability to make plays to all sides, whether charging in, going back over the shoulder, or rotating from side to side. Shows advanced outfield mechanics and a strong accurate arm. Shows good situational awareness at the plate and consistently puts the ball in play. Should be an interesting follow in the future. Uncommitted.


Cooper Bliss (‘24,NC) Athletes lab 18u Prospects - Cooper was dominant on the mound in relief, flashing a fastball up to 84 mph, a slider at 73 mph, and a very good change-up with lots of depth at 76. Standing at 6 '1'’ 180 lbs there is more to come for the Catawba Valley Community College commit. With the ability to command all three pitches and a good knowledge of pitching, Cooper is a good follow throughout the rest of his recruitment and his time at Catawba Valley. 


Brodie Burgess (‘25,NC) Sports Lab Baseball - Impressed a lot with his tools behind the dish. Burgess sits calmly in his secondary stance, where he stole strikes and kept balls in front. An Agile athlete who made a sick play on a soft bunt down the 3rd base line, showed off the arm in getting the out. Uncommitted.


Luke Nesbitt (‘25,NC) Sports Lab Baseball - Physical presence in the box, standing 6’4” 215lb. Nesbitt was pitched around all game, opposing pitchers wanted no part in his big left-handed swing. Came through late in Game 1 at McNair Field, and smoked a ground ball to the right side, hard enough for no fielders to make a play. Uncommitted.

Broden Thompson (‘24,NC) Athletes Lab 18u Prospects - quick and violent swing with lots of pop at the plate. Drove a ball off the top of the right-center wall at Montreat and showed off the wheels getting a triple. Shows both a strong arm behind the plate and a shortstop, threw 2 runners out, and is a wall behind the plate. Catawba Valley Community College commit. 


Jackson Pavone (‘25,NC) Sports Lab Baseball - Pavone had an impressive day on the mound pounding the zone with a three-pitch mix. Fastball 77-79 topping 80 multiple times, CB 67-69, and a very good changeup with lots of depth at 69-79. Pavone’s command is very impressive, keeping hitters off balance and causing very tough at bats. The changeup is an outlier pitch that Pavone can throw in any count. Very high upside and should be a high follow going forward. Uncommitted. 


Hunter Townsend (‘24,NC) Athletes Lab 18u Prospects - Defensive wizard both behind the plate and at third base. Stole a lot of strikes and kept everything in front during the first game, then switched to third for the second game where he put on a show making a diving play and showing off a strong arm across the infield. Possesses a good bat at the plate with a quick swing that produces consistent hard contact. Uncommitted. 


Colby Putnam (’25,NC) Charlotte Baseball Academy 17u Scout - Good frame at 6’0” 165lbs. The RHP displayed a 3-pitch arsenal of FB, CB, and SL. Has a lively FB that gets up to 87 and has good arm side run. His SL is tight with a lot of spin and gets a lot of swings and misses. Mixes in his CB when ahead in the count which keeps hitters off balance and has big vertical break. His best pitch is his FB and he commands it really well. Good uncommitted follow. 


Carter Culbreth (’26,NC) On Deck O’s 2026 Orange - Projectable frame at 6’2'' 175 lbs. The RHP dominated in game one on Saturday going 6 innings allowing 0 runs and 0 hits with 11 strikeouts. Showed a FB and CB that he mixed really well keeping hitters guessing. His FB got up to 78 with good movement and his CB got up to 65 with good break and using it as his strikeout pitch. Was really efficient only throwing 86 pitches in 6 innings and commanded the zone well with every pitch. Impressive uncommitted follow. 


Rush Adams (’26,NC) On Deck O’s 2026 - Orange - Projectable MIF with quick hands and smooth footwork. Has a strong arm from both SS and 2B. At the plate, he has plus bat speed with sneaky pop and showed it off in game one on Saturday roping a 2 RBI double down the LF line and showed off good speed making it to second standing up. Has a really simple approach at the plate and does not try to do too much. Good uncommitted follow. 


Owen Miller (’24,NC) On Deck O’s 2024 - Strong frame at 5’9'' 170 lbs. Behind the dish, he showed an impressive arm with a good pop time. Quick footwork with a good baseball IQ. He is a leader on the field and commands the field. At the plate he showed a simple swing with a good approach and didn't chase balls out of the zone. Middle of the order bat, controls the barrel well and places the ball where he wants to. Really impressive uncommitted follow.


Peyton Dhein (’24,SC) On Deck O’s 2024 - Good frame at 5’11” 155lbs. The LHP VMI commit dominated on the mound on Saturday coming in relief, throwing 3 shutout innings and striking out 5 batters. Displays a funky low 3/4 arm slot that hitters are not used to seeing. Has a FB with a lot of arm side run that got up to 82 and a SL that got up to 72. His FB sneaks up on hitters and gets a lot of late swings and his SL is tight with late break out of the zone. He uses his SL a good amount and uses it very effectively. 


Connor Hendrix (’24,TN) GBG Southeast 17u - Strong frame at 6’2” 175lbs. Had a good outing on Saturday going 3 and 2/3 innings giving up 1 hit and striking out 4. Has a lively FB that he ran up to 86 and a SL that got up to 75. His SL has a high spin rate and he uses that as his strikeout pitch. Had a presence on the mound and stayed composed during his whole outing. Commands both pitches really well and kept his team in the game. Nice swing at the plate with a contact-first approach and room to grow. Good uncommitted follow. 


Emory Yarrell (’27,SC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Solid young projectable frame at 5’9” 145lbs. Was really impressive on Saturday tallying a couple of base hits and showing a good glove in the field. At the plate, he shows plus bat speed with pop to all fields. Gap to gap hitter who consistently finds barrels. He gets into his legs really well, where he generates his power and has plus speed on the bases. At SS he has a strong arm making a couple of cross-body throws and getting the runner out at first. Fundamentally sound with a good baseball IQ. Really Impressive young uncommitted follow. 


Kaleb Owens (’24,SC) USA Prime Carolinas 18u - Solid frame at 6’1'' 190 lbs. The Anderson University Commit had a good day on the bump allowing 1ER over 3 innings and striking out 4. Displays a 3-pitch arsenal of FB, SL, and CH. Has a lively FB that he ran up 85 and lows to pick corners with. Has a really tight SL that got up to 73 and gets a ton of swings and misses. His CH got up to 78 with really good depth and he mixes it in well, keeping hitters guessing. 


Brock Ratliff (’27,SC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Played a really solid 2B on Saturday turning a handful of double plays and showing off his quick hands and strong arm. Has good pre-pitch movement and is a leader on the field. At the plate, he is a top-of-the-order bat with plus speed on the bases. Has a fast bat with a contact-first approach and finds a way to get on base. On the mound, he shut down the team going 2 innings and allowing 0ER. He has a two-pitch repertoire of FB and CB. Got his FB up to 70 and his CB up to 61. Throws both for strikes and gets a ton of ground balls. Intriguing uncommitted follow. 


David Desrosiers (’26,SC) Wreckers 15u - Big physical frame at 6’1” 210lbs. Had a great day at the plate tallying a handful of base hits, one of those being an RBI double. Has raw powers to all fields with a violent swing that he controls very well. Line drive hitter who finds gaps consistently. Played a solid 3B making every play that came his way and showing off a strong arm across the diamond. Good uncommitted follow.

Ty Detweiler (‘25,NC) On Deck O’s 2025-Orange- The 6’ 160 lbs MIF has a prominent bat, a fast and aggressive swing produces frequent hard hit contact and lots of pop. With a good eye for the strike zone mixed with disciplined plate appearances, Detweiler is a tough out. Playing SS for the O’s he shows great range and a good glove mixed with a high baseball IQ, and a strong arm. High Uncommitted follow.

James Lowe (‘25,NC) On Deck O’s 2025 Orange - A very disciplined hitter with a great up the middle approach. Consistently stays back on the ball and produces hard contact, with ability to hit to both sides of the field, and with pop. Playing third base for the O’s the arm really stands out, able to make difficult plays look routine and being able to make strong throws both coming through the ball, and on the run. Uncommitted.

Reese Guertin (‘25,NC) On Deck O’s 2025 Orange- Great defender with a good approach at the plate and A plus speed. Defensive wizard, able to track balls to any part of the field, and cover some serious ground. Great baseball IQ, knowing where cut-offs are and where the ball needs to be, also has a great arm. Good approach at the plate with power to both sides off the field, and an aggressive base runner always looking to move up to the next base at any given change. Creates havoc on the basepaths and brings attention. High uncommitted follow.

Eli Rigbsy (‘24,NC) NLB NC 2024 - Powerful frame at 5’10’’ 180 lbs. Possesses a vicious swing that produces consistent contact that is crushed. Led off the game with a massive Pull-side home-run, had two others hits that were smoked also. Great defender behind the plate, saving multiple runs and keeping everything in front. Showed off a plus arm, throwing out two runners. Extremely exciting prospect to watch moving forward. High uncommitted follow. 

Jordan Dixon (‘24,NC) NLB NC 2024 - The Wingate commit is a presence in the box, hitting the ball hard multiple times, and absolutely crushing a pull-side no doubt home-run. Standing at 6’1’’ 228 lbs, the opportunities are endless in terms of Power. Plays a good first base, keeping the ball in front, and good glove when it comes to picks. Physical presence on the mound, very downhill and intimidating, running the fastball up to 85 mph, and has good command of offspeed.  A massive get for the Wingate coaching staff they should be excited for.

Solomon Eudy (‘24,NC) NLB NC 2024 - MIF who has good hands, good range, and quick feet. Possesses a strong baseball IQ and makes good decisions with the ball in hand. Possesses a good bat with quick hands and good plate discipline. Has a good up the middle approach and can hit to all sides off the field. Short and simple swing that produces. Good uncommitted follow.

Connor Lindsay (‘24,NC) MIF NLB NC 2024 - Big physical bat, with a big frame at 5’11’’ 170 lbs. Quick and powerful swing, constantly produces plus exit velocity, and drives the ball. Hit a ball on a line in the gap to the warning track at Mars Hill. Good defender in the field, solid mechanics and solid range, with a plus arm across the diamond. Good uncommitted follow.

Jett Thomas (‘24,NC) NLB NC 2024 - 3B/Utility, big and intimidating presence in the batter's box and on the field. Standing at 6’1’’ 195 lbs there is a threat the ball will leave the yard at any moment. Produces consistent contact with a quick and powerful swing, and a very impressive exit velocity, the ball sounds different off of his abt. Solid defender with a good arm at the hot corner, keeps the ball in front and has good footwork. His frame alone makes him a stand out prospect, but with solid defense and a great bat, he is a very interesting and high uncommitted follow. ,

Hudson Hatley (‘27,NC) On Deck Baseball 2027-Orange - Quick middle infielder with good footwork and good range, also shows off a solid arm and ability to make different kinds of plays. Has a short and simple swing, gets the barrel to the ball and puts the ball in play consistently. Tall 5’7’’ frame with room to grow. Very projectable prospect and should be a good uncommitted follow. 

Will Proffitt (‘26,NC) On Deck O’s Black - C/1B, Powerful hitter with pop to all sides of the field, consistently producing hard hit contact and is a threat for extra bases every at bat. Good defensively behind the plate, stealing strikes and keeping everything in front. Good arm in the infield and behind the plate limiting runners and making tough plays. High uncommitted follow.

Conner Highsmith (’28,SC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Strong frame at 5’11” 135lb. Has impressed all weekend with his bat-finding barrels and showing off his raw power. Has the ability to hit the ball to all fields with power. He gets into his legs really well and has a violent swing that he controls well. Has good vision at the plate and doesn’t chase out of the zone. Good uncommitted follow. 

Owen Painter (’28,SC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Painter displays a good approach at the plate and loves to go backside. Has a really simple swing and makes adjustments pitch to pitch. In the outfield, he has good speed and showed good route running. Uncommitted.

Jaaron Fry (’28,NC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Solid frame at 5’11'' 160lbs. Has had a good weekend at the plate and on the mound. In game one on Sunday he threw 4 innings and gave up 0ER. He gets a lot of weak contact and ground balls. Showed a FB that he ran up to 80mph and a CB that he got up to 71 mph. Commands both pitches really well and works ahead of the batters. Has a solid bat and looks comfortable at the plate. Barreled up balls all weekend hitting a lot of line drives and showing a smooth compact swing. Impressive uncommitted follow.

Owen Rigsby (’26,NC) NLB NC 2027 - Big frame at 6’0” 182 lbs. Had a really solid day on the mound on Sunday going 3 innings giving up 2 hits, 1 ER, 0BB, and striking out 6 batters. He pounds the zone with both pitches and doesn’t throw many balls. Has a weird whipping arm action that throws hitters off. Got the FB up to 77 and the SL up to 69. Good uncommitted follow.

Matthew Queler (’27,NC) NLB NC 2027 - The RHP threw 2 innings on Sunday and gave up 1 hit and struck out 3 batters. He has a nice FB that gets up to 79 mph and jumps on hitters. His CB breaks 12-6 and gets up to 70mph. Works down the mound well and works out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Uncommitted.

Gage Borrosco (’28,NC) USA Prime Carolinas 14u - Lanky frame at 6’1” 145 lbs. Had a good all-around day on Sunday going 4 innings giving up 2ER and striking out 4. Displayed a big breaking CB that got up to 68 and a FB with a lot of side run that got up to 76. Works out of a low 3/4 arm slot. Has a fluid swing that finds barrels and looks effortless. Intriguing uncommitted follow.

Robert Manges (’24,SC) USA Prime SC 18u - Solid frame at 6’0” 170lbs. The LHP had a solid day on the mound going 3 innings striking out 4 batters and giving up 1ER. Mixes his pitches really well and is crafty. Threw both his FB and CB for strikes. Got the FB up to 80 and the CB up to 66. Good uncommitted follow. 

Jackson Caldwell (’25,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18u National - Strong frame at 6’1'' 190 lbs. He uses a mix of 3 pitches on the mound, works a FB, SL, and CH. He displayed a lively FB that gets up to 86 mph along with a tight SL that got up to 74. He doesn’t mix in his CH much but when he did it was very effective. His SL is his best pitch and he commands it really well. He has more left in the tank and more velocity coming. Intriguing uncommitted follow.

Logan Rodriguez (’24,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18u National - Strong physical frame at 6’2” 200lbs. The Bluefield State College commit had himself a day at the plate tallying a pair of extra-base hits and multiple RBIs. He has a fluid swing that produces raw power to all fields. Uses his lower half well and controls the barrel. He had a good day at 1B as well making a couple of run-saving plays.
