Day 2-3

Dylan Palmer - ‘22 MIF (NJ) - Time to Sign

Palmer continues to stand out and show a high baseball IQ on both sides of the baseball. Smooth defensive actions, clean hands, gets rid of the ball quickly, good internal clock and can play the hop at 2B.. At the plate, Palmer has a smooth swing with big-time feel for the barrel, lets the hands work to the ball, has shown the ability to consistently put together quality AB’s.. Needs to add strength but overall, a very solid top of the order MIF still on the board in the ‘22 class.

Josh Halcisak - ‘23 RHP (PA) - Northeast Pride

Halcisak is a mature ‘23 RHP from Hazle Township, PA. Featured above-average mound presence in game action here at the Philly Invite.. Poised operation with clean mechanics, body is synced up and moves well down the mound. FB primarily mid to upper 8s (2300rpm) with more in the tank, really has feel for the BB at 74 with 2400rpm. Delivery is sound and projects for more to come, currently uncommitted.

Kevin Henrich - ‘22 RHP (PA) - Mid Atlantic Show

Interesting arm out of Malvern, PA.. Henrich has a loose delivery from a M3/4 slot with a lot of arms and legs coming at the batter. Arm action is free and easy, ball comes out of the hand well. Showed a legitimate two pitch mix; FB lives mid to upper 8s (2100rpm) with run/sink in, to RHH’s.. The separator for Henrich is his SL, which he spins from the same M3/4 slot, frisbee action very tough on RHH’s at 69-70 (2400rpm). Currently unsigned.

Kevin Henrich Video

Oliver Ellison - ‘23 RHP (MD) - Mid Atlantic Red Sox

Ellison created some buzz around his name today at the Philly Invite, tossing a no-hitter against a deep NE Pride Scout Team.. Ellison boasts a repeatable delivery, arm works quick, FB up to 87 with sneaky life, induces a ton of swing and miss with his SL, has feel for a + CH at his age, maintains arm action when going to the offspeed. Guy who can really pitch, still on the market in the ‘23 class.

Oliver Ellison Video

Josh Keen - ‘23 RHP (PA) - Bucks County Generals

Josh Keen really stepped up in a highly anticipated semifinal matchup against a talented NE Pride National team.. Thick, durable frame whos not afraid to go right after hitters with his FB, bulldog mentality on the mound, demeanor on the mound really says, “here it is, hit it if you can”. FB was consistently 85-87 with heavy action. Also showed a CB w/11-5 shape at 75 (2100rpm) will be a solid pickup for the right program in the future, uncommitted at this time.

Josh Keen Video

Jueriz Polanco - ‘22 RHP/INF (NJ) - PS2 Academy

Polanco is a fun two-way to check out.. Really moves well on the mound, natural actions, lower half works to get down the mound.. Comes from a H3/4 slot, FB was up to 88 (2400)rpm with ride, mixed in a hard SL at 78 (2000rpm). Present athleticism, quick feet short arm over to 1B when checking runners. Currently unsigned.

Jueriz Polanco Video

David Shieh - ‘24 C/INF (MD) - Mid Atlantic Red Sox

Got a good look at David Shieh, a young ‘24 from Upper Marlboro, MD with efficient and projectable movements in the box.. Creates good rhythm for himself up top with the barrel, reverse circle load with the hands gets him on time, stays connected with the core, short finish with some natural lift. Uncommitted at this time, expect him to make jumps and establish himself as an impact bat moving forward.

Day 1

AJ Thomas - ‘22 LHP (PA) - Baseball U

Thomas has a bright future ahead of him on the mound.. Arm, frame and delivery all project for + stuff as he continues to add strength from the frame.. Tall and lanky build at this time, 6’3 with long levers that work quick.. Arm works from a M3/4 slot, features a very solid 3 pitch mix, all have life/action to them. FB up to 87 with ASR, can bust it in to RHH’s when needed. Flashed a CH with fade that misses a ton of barrels.. The separator for Thomas is the SL which has frisbee action with 2300rpm.. Not a player comp, but the delivery has similarities to Chris Sale.. Very interesting follow w/big upside. Currently uncommitted.

Michael Trommer - ‘22 SS/RHP (PA) - Mid Atlantic Show

Trommer is a physical LHH/SS from Trevose, PA with a mature approach in the box. Simple and early load to the backside, hands get to a good spot to launch. Maintains balance and posture, has an efficient path through the zone, creates torque at contact with the core. 1P swing with some present pop, currently uncommitted.

 Michael Trommer - Video

Mikey Rodriguez - ‘22 CF (NY) - Northeast Supreme

Really like what Mikey Rodriguez brings to the table, aggressive guy who knows how to compete and battle in the box. Top of the order bat that sees a ton of pitches, present barrel control with some twitch to the swing. Wide set with the lower half, lets the hands work through the zone. Showed the ability to consistently put together quality AB’s in game action. Very solid RHH who can go get it in CF.. Still uncommitted and on the board in the ‘22 class.

 Mikey Rodriguez - Video

Ryan Foody - ‘23 1B/OF/LHP (NY) - Northeast Pride

6’4 LHH with a ton of feel offensively.. Weight starts on the backside, present strength in the lower half. Creates some rhythm up top with the barrel, productive bat path, works through the middle of the field. Strong follow moving forward on both sides of the ball, currently uncommitted.
